@Roberta,
Hey Boida - oh, its brilliant....

this is it: this is exactly the one I have...

http://www.betterbraces.com/Thumbnail.aspx?image=Aircast%20Ankle%20Brace%20open2.jpg&Size=360

HA - you blow it up (course, I got plenty of hot air to spare) then, put my left foot on the white bit at the bottom and you wrap it around - and my whole ankle is supported and cushioned. IT'S EXCELLENT. Does absolutely NOTHING for my street cred at all - but as my street is one way dead end - that's not a problem right now! It truly is amazing.

Such a simple contraption - and yes - I can walk on it (carefully, as I'm not fully weight bearing on the left foot for another 2 weeks) and it doesn't hurt (I don't think - maybe I am overexcited - hahahahahaha).

SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO.... that means I only have to use one ONE blue crutch! How happy is that! Razz

It's hard NOT to want to walk and my right foot (tho plastered) - the ankle is complaining because I have no arch support at all - so I know I have to keep any weight off it for another 4 weeks..... 'tis hard to do tho!

I may be held together with metal and plastic - but it's all good at the moment.

Smile

Good morning Izzie, nice to wake up and read the good news about your tootsies, walking on air eh, marvellous. All well down under in my part of the world, still many problems in Victoria though. Can I assume mail reached its destination? Time for some breakfast, will be around later.

@Izzie,
Hello Izzie, where have you been and what have you been doing, or shouldn't I ask that? Wink

Have been around all morning but not a peep out of you, busy taking photographs of your pets?

If you're heading for bed, good night, sleep well and until next time. (((Izzie)))

@Izzie,
Hiya Iz and Dutchy...I am too pooped to pop. Going to have a glass of wine and vegetate in front of the TV - I don't even have enough gumption to sit and read! Hope you all had or have a great day.

I'm swamped the rest of the week so - I am hoping I will be here...but if I'm not - know I'm thinking of you all.

Normal - anybody know what that is anymore? Is there such a thing? Razz

thoughts and prayers with each.

hugs to all

@verbivore,
So pleased it brought a smile to your beautiful face verbivore, I know you work long hours so a cute little distraction makes the time hopefully go quicker. Just to make you smile a little more, I caught some lovely fish today which will hit the barbeque in about two hours. Laughing

I swear BEAgle you seem to eat more than a Bear & Eagle combined would ever endeavour to!!! Smile
Ive still not come up with those 20 names for a web designing company. The funniest thing is any weird thing you come up & google it its already up there!!
People here are thrilled with the Oscar news Smile Kudos to Dannyboyle to take us places. A.R. Rehman sure is another gem..special thoughts go to Heath..though i read tht he died coz of the mix of drugs..the rumour is tht he couldnt stand the tension of the character he portrayed! Cant help admiring that amount of dedication i should say!
