@Barry The Mod,
Morning All

Oh - 'tis good to see me hearties on board.

Well, the sun is attempting to shine - I awoke thinking.... I'm gonna go take some pics - so I've been pottering. It's amazing what little things please me... (daft daft daft) - petals - just how incredible is a single petal!!!!!!!!!!! a? a? a? Talk about an intricate masterpiece ... just stunning.

Anyhoo - currently the kittens are flying around the house, followed by their fur and christmas tree wands for tails - wonderful brotherly scraps going on and boy, can they move fast! They are so, so naughty. They have destroyed two rugs (ah, they were old) and, as they fly through the air, invariably - so does whatever they end up landing on <naughty naughty kittens>. I so wanna let them out in the garden - it's a perfect garden and area for cats, fields all around - just so worried about losing them. Confused They will have so much fun outside tho - spend hours sitting in the conservatory windows chasing leaves and flies that are outside.

Little fella is cooking himself a fry up (he loves to cook).... in S-boy terms this means Quorn Bacon (veggie), eggs and tomatoes - he's got up, gelled his hair and put his best shirt on - who knows why Smile made me a lovely cuppa and we had a big hug. Bless him. He's whistling The Snowman theme "Walking In The Air" - he makes me laugh!

Thanks all re your comments... 'tis up to me to make my future - so I'm gonna try and keep on an even keel and take out the hurdles that really don't need to be there. Only I can do that - have done I think - just took me a long while to finally figure it out. Doh!

Soon as I'm back on my feet.... well.... hope to go find us a world . Razz

@Izzie,
Thanks for all the well wishes JPB, Iz, Verby, DeeDee and all. I woke up this morning for the first time feeling like I was well. I am a little weak feeling but that is probably because I haven't eaten in over two days!

These are wise words and more than likely true for all of us. And it is cyclical. We generally do tend to make things harder than they have to be - a wise thing would be to step back each morning and say - "What can I feasibly let go of today?" Whether it be emotional baggage or things we feel we need to do that we just really don't. It would make life simpler. I shall practice it today myself!

I have to clean my house. DISINFECT my house. And I need to bathe the doggies...Biscuit managed to get into something quite stinky...I can't love on her without gagging, so I need to take care of that.

Hope you all have a happy, happy day!

hugs!

@mismi,
Hey Barry! Good to see you here.

I have been driving around the neighborhood looking for Biscuit. That little whipper snapper has jumped the fence...with Pistol of course...this is new behavior. Pistol came back - she did not. I am sick..

@mismi,
Now I can't focus...I can't get the prof on the phone...I have put out posters already...where could she have gone? Did someone pick her up? She did not have a collar on because Pistol pulled it off yesterday...I was afraid he was going to choke her to death with it. I didn't think about putting it on before I put her out....oh no - what will G-baby do when he finds out his little black Biscuit is gone? I have been praying all morning that I will control my thought processes and that I will be positive and no worry. Hard to do though isn't it?

@Izzie,
my throat hurts Izzie - from holding back tears. I feel horrible. Why did Pistol come back but not Biscuit? They are always together. It scares me that she got hit and someone took her to a vet. I have called the one around here - but have heard nothing yet.

Oh so sick. Trying to read and I keep piddling thinking someone will call. But nothing yet.

I am okay - just so distracted and upset that she is gone. I can't do anything! My Mom told me to go about my business - that I had done all that I could...but don't you think that is easier said than done?

@mismi,
yep hunni - it's not so easy just to sit and wait.

right - you've called the vet so can do no more there

have you called the sheriff's department - if I were to find a dog I would automatically contact the police - it's the first place I would call if one of mine went missing

contact your neighbours too - if she's pottering around then they may have taken her in...

can you Pistol on the lead and walk.... Biscuit might come out if she's hiding somewhere if she see's Pistol? Is the professor coming home hun?

@Izzie,
My neighbor just called. She said she received an e-mail from another neighbor that a little black lab got hit on the main street of our neighborhood...but was not injured...but was scared to leave their porch. I went immediately and picked up my little Biscuit. Who is definitely scared...shaken and would not take her nose out of my armpit while I was driving home. But she is fine...and my heart is exceedingly glad! She is laying here at my feet stinking to high heavens. I am going to bathe the little stinker right now.

Thanks Izzie!

@Izzie,
Thanks Iz - girly is clean. I am taking a break before wrestling with my man Pistol...he's a hoss when it comes to bathing - I have to expend much energy. I haven't that much right now!

@mismi,
Did she cooperate with bath time out of feelings of guilt, do you suppose? (As if.) Glad you got her back safe and sound.

@Tai Chi,
I am the one that feels guilty. I told her I should have never let her go out in the yard without the leash knowing she was going to follow that bad ol' Pistol wherever he goes. Poor baby. They both get to be on leashes for their exercise today - bad news for me and them really - I haven't much energy to spare!

Thanks T.C.

@djjd62,
Good job with Pistol girlie... hope it didn't take too much energy out of you - rest up gal.

My laptop has died a miserable death I'm afraid and is making it's way to laptop heaven....

at a complete loss what to do...

back to shop I guess (how the heck.....) - less than 6 months old and exact same problem as previous one which was a year old. HP DV00?? Gutted at the moment.

On the PC which is ancient and takes an eon to do anything. ACK
