Hey WytVi " got your email gal...you and FQsis are in for some snow up there " which means a couple inches and London will come to a grinding halt. The last major snow I had was returning from Portugal in Jan...03 I think it was.... was flying into Stansted and FQ hubby was gonna be picking us up " we got diverted to Luton... ended up being coached to Stansted and stuck on the M11 for...what was FQsis.... bout 14 hours or so before hubby could get to us......... bloody awful. Ton of the stuff and the whole of the East stopped. Anyhoooooooo... you take good care when it arrives - FQ, don’t you be going out in the car " you know what happened last time you and snow took a whirl!

Now..... where are the boys............... Blue.....Alex....... mmmmmmmmmmmmm!

As for work " well, I won’t do anything about it " there is an appeal process " but I’m not going to do it. It’s fine. Will all be fine " done and dusted - no worries. Just gonna get on with the next week and get the surgery out the way " no point worrying about anything else.

Just got to try and keep up the water (hard with water restrictions) to all the plants and animals. Airconditioning has not been off for over a week. Stormy - I love it when you come by. Thanks... actually, my hands are verra shaky - I have a super sensitive shot button that help..... but they are all out of focus. Have a cheap tripod which took me an eon to work out (yeah... don's ask... how complicated could it be) - but boids are so fast and I can't keep up with them. Torrential rain today - hoping tomorrow I will get some better pics.

Patience.......... ahh - heaps of it when I look thru a lens.... see that's my peace. Lose every single thought in my head and all I can see is beauty around me, even in the pouring rain and mud - it's a wonderful world if you just take a look past the mundane. Truly - it's like leaving my body sitting in the house and I go out and haven't a care in the world. Most wonderful feeling.... kinda energises me in a real strange way. Makes me very happy.

Hubby and kids are great. We do have a lot of snow again this year. I still don't like it, but this too shall pass..lol

School is rough, as I knew it would be this year. I have a couple of tough cases. One little guy, I fondly ( or not so fondly) I call my "chair thrower". He throws, he hits, he destroys rooms and runs out of the school. He really needs a theraputic environment, but you know what happens when the administration holds the purse strings! ....but we do still have the nurse!! You win some and lose some, unfortunately its the kids that lose when you lose some.

I know I don't get here often, but I do read in to catch up. Sounds like you have had a rough go lately. I'm pulling for ya and wishing the best. Take care Izzie

TaiC - mmmmmmmm.... thats' my pretty tree for which I have no name. The berries are gorgeoud. One fell in the frost and froze immediately...



the birds seem to love them........ the berries against the sky are such pretty colours... they'd be good watercolours.... reckon Indeedee needs to pop across and paint my trees. Must admit - am looking forward to the Spring too and the new life popping up - the nicest time of the year is just as the leaves are unfurling - LOVE IT... and have them all around me. Garden is just simply stunning in the summer. Will try and find out what the tree is and let you know..... pertty purty tree. Hope tooth is feeling much better gal.

Yeah.... I think s/he's a chaffinch.... there's one with red/pink oh chest.... but he's way too quick for me.... oh DjjD - you've love them - they are there all the time -just skittish..... too too quick and I still can't get the shutter speeds sorted - need to talk to SheW again. Guess what.... GUESS WHAT... I had a woodpecker........... a real real woodpecker - SO UNUSUAL, especially close to the house - and no way was I quick enough. Gosh, made my heart beat so fast. Was terribly excited. Maybe he will come back soon. Get jays at the bottom of the garden and two stunning collared doves. Have a feeling I am going to get (or am already) really geeky about this so may have to make a hide so I can get up close and personal.

Sadly, I really really could watch them for hours... I have become a TWITCHER

Careful what you wish for Izzie -- the snow is falling like crazy here again.

AAAAAaaaa.... in the South West, it's a rare site for snow (don't say that in front of anyone who lived in 1963 tho) - the East and Midlands are gonna get it... but nothing even remotely to what you guys are all going through - however, the UK is SO NOT geared up for snow. It's pretty rare here. Very rare in the South West. I will be so screamy if we get it..... hahaha...... kinda excited already with just the thought of a little. (sad git a?- HA)

Wishing for yours to melt soon - know its getting a little wearing now. Dunno how you cope with all the shovelling and all that... major headache methinks getting from A-B. xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
