Glorious morning here, just been for an early morning beach walk and now enjoying breakfast on the patio.

Howdy everyone,
Sorry I havent written much lately.
Things have returned to what passes for normal around this house.
Stacy has finally come to grips with Kaines death, but it still bothers her (and it will for a long time).

Last saturday we went out for dinner.
It was the first time since Kaines death that she even felt like going out at all, so I didnt say no.
We went to Evansville for dinnerat the Olive Garden.
We then went to a show and actually had a good time.
She is at work right now, and I am home washing dishes and doing laundry.

It has been cold around here for the last couple of days.
On thursday, the high temp was 10 degrees, and on friday it was 15 degrees.

I havent talked to Jason, but Stacy saw him last tuesday.
He seems to be holding up ok, but I guess only time will tell.
Cody has finally accepted the fact that Kaine is gone.
Him and Stacy went to his grave last wednseday and placed flowers on his grave.

Other then that, there really is nothing going on here that is of major interest.
So I will write more again later.

up late last night - working on pine derby cars...will have to get pics for you...I am exhausted..gots a headache and generally suffering from too many nights up too late and paint fumes probably. The boys (I have a lot of adjustments to make on the cars next year) came in third and fourth. They did get ribbons for design...and it was their design - I just helped them...And it's so gray and cold...BUT my ray of sun is in the form of a great little Mexican Restaurant and at least TWO margaritas...coming up in a bit. Then I'm going ta' bed.

Brooke - what an awesome car...one day - I hope to get a car in which the three little dudes in the back can't touch each other...it is something I have slim hope of seeing but I can always dream. So glad you are doing okay and were able to replace your car without any trouble!

MM - glad you and Stacy are back to somewhat normal....you will always miss him...but thank goodness you leaned on each other during this and are moving forward with the sweet memories you have of him...I know it's hard. But good on ya' for trying. Hugs to you all.

Beth - I suck at that game...I am too A.D.D. apparently - my eyes go everywhere and can't see a thing! HA...I will keep trying though.

Izzie - wish I could have joined you and Tulip for a view of the moors this weekend - am used to the winds there. Somewhere, in my dresser but certainly in my memory is a photo of a beautiful rainbow I saw once at Belstone, looking out from the hotel, and I hope it's some kind of happy symbol for Tulip - and for you - of better times to come - soon.

Tulip - so pleased things appear to be moving along. I know there are a lot of steps to go through but do hope it all works out well for you.
