Yeah, no kiddin' . . . and another good reason is that it is just to the east of the Carnegie Library. You should take Sozlet there, to let her see the old Lie-berry, and then to see the park. They have great reading sessions and other activities for children--and i believe i am correct in saying that Columbus is not too far for you to drive.

It's a shame you've never been there.

Verby, I was thinking of you last night.

I went to a Hafla last night - that's a belly dancers' party. First there were mini performances by teachers and advanced students - they were trying out new choreography and some of the students were doing their first public solos - working on their nerves - then we all got up and danced. So much fun. I was wishing you could have been there for the show/snacks and dancing. You'd have enjoyed it, I think - and had something to write about.

So good to see you've posted just before me, Brooke-y! Glad you're in the Christmas spirit - it's taken me a bit to get out of the 'bah-humbugs', even with the snow!

And love the painting that started that bit of the thread. Just like wanel, I've seen it in the Chicago Museum of Art. Copies don't do it justice. It has just scads of beautiful frames painted around it by the artist - just gorgeous - love it!
