Yo rappers, wats goin’ down in this town?
If yo iz well; just ring ma bell.
If yo is sick, I have this trik:
Just pull this string to move mah thing
And yo; will be well as well!

When I was a little biddy boy
My grandma bought me a cute little toy
Two Silver bells on a string
She told me it was my ding-a-ling-a-ling

My Ding-A-Ling My Ding-A-Ling won't you play with My Ding-A-Ling
My Ding-A-Ling My Ding-A-Ling won't you play with My Ding-A-Ling

When I was little boy In Grammar school
Always went by the very best rule
But every time the bell would ring
You'd catch me playing with my ding-a-ling

Once while climbing the garden wall,
Slipped and fell had a very bad fall
I fell so hard I heard birds sing,
But I held on to My ding-a-ling

Once while swimming cross turtle creek
Man them snappers right at my feet
Sure was hard swimming cross that thing
with both hands holding my ding-a-ling

Now this here song it ain't so bad
Prettiest little song that you ever had
And those of you who will not sing
must be playing with your own Ding-a-ling

I so do very much hope all is coco in Devon today.

Hi all; just thought I would visit to wish anyone with flu a rapid recovery. Dutchy said I must not mention names, so I refer to the one with bit of peach fuzz!

I would love to stay and yabber, but what with Alex taking up so much space; I guess I had better move along…

@mismi,
Evening All...

Alex... checked! Hope you're ribs are all healed now.

Vegemite - good to yabber with you earlier - sleep well.

Missy - glad you are feeling a little better - which one is home???J,S,G? Ah.... that BlueBoy.... I reckon he's more of a sta'man.... possibly a nectry, or receptrycale - no stigma....., most positively style and definitely a "petal"...possibly with anthers.

http://www.naturegrid.org.uk/qca/flowerparts.html

Now.... if Blue were a flower.... what would he be... BlueBell, blue throatwort, or perhaps a Viola Tricolor Wink

Viola tricolor
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Heartsease - Binomial name = Viola tricolor

Heartsease (Viola tricolor) is a common European wild flower, growing as an annual or short-lived perennial. It has been introduced into North America, where it has spread widely, and is known as the Johnny Jump Up Shocked (though this name is also applied to similar species such as the Yellow Pansy). It is the progenitor of the cultivated Pansy, and is therefore sometimes called Wild Pansy; before the cultivated Pansies were developed, "Pansy" was an alternative name for the wild form.

@Izzie,
heh heh - stalker - I get it - of course he has anthers...he is a little blue devil, no?
and of course, I don't mind his sweet blue face hangin' round. Makes life interesting, it does.

G has been home with me...and seems right as rain - except for the nasty cough. So hopefully we will both be back where we are suppose to be tomorrow. Depends on whether we run fever tonight or not. Thanks Izzie...((Izzie))

@mismi,
Hey Mis..... I'm just done hoovering!!!!! I know I know... 1.25am... kinda have to do it when I feel the need. HA! Have a good sleep darling Dixie Gal and hope both you and G-baby manage to be cough free - so frustrating when you cough all nite. I coughed 4 snabbing ribs when FQsis was weaning BabyA - 8 days in hsopital then- that was some dang cough - the good of it was I discovered an allergy to pethidine!!!! See - reasons for everything.

Have a soothing sleep girl and wake up refreshed tomorrow. Love you girlie. xx

BEAgle.... Ahhh... you are gonna hug our Indeedee today - oh, you are both so fortunate to meet each other. Don't forget the pics - can't wait to see you guys together. You will have such a great time. I'm so excited for you both. Yes... I am an excitable gal - but this is simply wonderful that you are getting to spend a little time together. I can't wait. Our crewmembers on shore leave together - just how much happier can it get!

Gosh, imagine moi, Mis, FQsis, Tulip, Babbling, Dev, Vege... all in the same place.... add in a WytVi, a Bethie, JPB, Montana and Tai-Chi... and the rest of the gang.... OH MY WORD..... girl commune.... then... bring in the deckhands to cook and serve the ladies.... wouldn't that be riotous. BEAgle can cook the food prepared by Alex which has been caught by BigRed off the deck, Stevie can cycle down and pick up the Gin and Chardie, jw can keep an eye out for gatecrashers, FBI Folks Breaking In to be escorted off the premises) Rock will be the Music Minstrel and finally Blue/Pink can be the Court Jester and provide the entertainment - and maybe Stormy and Rainkeeper would show up for good measure. What a blinder shore-gang-leave we would have. Razz

Oh.... no good... I gotta go bed. Up early. Have a good day y'all. Lovin' y'all - sleep bigguns xx

BEAgle, Indedee - we love you - have a FAB day together. xxxx

@Izzie,
What a lovely word picture of the crew to help me smile as I head off to sleep tonight.

Lovely.

MissyMi, you need to work on getting better. This is turning into the not quite 100 percent gang!

Work is interesting. People are great. The job itself is good. But. Oh. My. God. what a mess. I've been given a pile of very disorganized things to make sense of at the same time that I'm trying to help people get on with their lives.

make sense
organize
try to make sense of the problem
organize
make sense
organize
listen sympathetically
organize

I'm the queen of tabs there - and folders - and lists of documents. I need more yellow and green tabs. And a headset. 14 phone calls on one file today - 52 minutes in one call. My neck is a bit crinky.

Hi Captain, Beagle and Indedee reporting in from the foreshore restaurant at Glenelg. Marvellous meeting one another after just being a name on the a2k forum. DDXX spotted us a mile off and started waving.
After 2 hugs, 1 for you Izzie, we went to an unusual restaurant, "The Buffalo", which is infact the ship that discovered South Australia in 1836.
Here I was able to introduce Indedee and her husband to the famous King George Whiting I have often bragged about, and ofcourse accompanied by several glasses of topshelf Chardonnay.
Spent quite a while yabbering about our common interests which brought us together, Lovatts crossword puzzles and a2k.
After our lovely meal we walked along the foreshore to another restaurant and had coffee, followed by goodbyes and more hugs.
Beagle and Mrs Beagle really enjoyed the afternoon DDXX and TJ, you are a delightful couple.

Bonjour les Petit Poire Parfaites, may your day be exhilarating, enlivening, invigorating, elating, thrilling, stimulating, inspiring and exciting. Failing that, just join me and muddle through and wait to see what tomorrow brings.

Glad the OZ crew bonded. Look forward to contact with the Alabama section! Razz

@Dutchy,
OH BEAGLE and INDEEDEE
How happy are you guys????? Wonderful " I love that you two met and hugged for real. So glad you had a lovely meal on a ship (could Alex have been cooking a?) " just gives me the warm and fuzzies knowing you were together with the respectives and everyone had a great time. Makes me smile.

Missy " how ya doing gal? Feeling better hun. How’s G-baby today?

So, when peace is a heavy requirement I go behind my lens.... you know, it’s amazing what you can see when you look in a different light and a little “solid” is required! Normally, me being a little on the “drippy” side " today, ice.... cold and as crystal clear as you can imagine " with a whole story in each icedrop...

I wonder.... can y’all see thru my eyes today...

But first " BLUE " I need you hoooooooooooo to answer a question for me, if you would be so kind.... d’ye remember when I was at Links Tor and I asked a “boff” about the stunning ice patterns on my patio " and you told me why that happened..... k.... well, you hooo or any other clever fella on the deck " can you explain this phenomenon for me "
My car this morning " the back windscreen and roof.... what a wonderland!

Please bear with me here... there’s a lotta pics, but... I wish y’all to see what I’m saying

The roof

Now I have played with colours and shadows to heighten the pattern.... ‘aint it grand.... any colour you choose... just, simply, perfect.

Just how amazing is that! Mother Nature at her very kindest. Very Happy

It will still be magical to me with the techie explanation " but it’d be interesting to know " WHY DO I HAVE LEAVES, SEAWEED, EXTRAORDINARY AND BEAUTIFUL WORKS OF ART ON MY HANDSOME CAR??? left overnite by Mother Nature. Leaves in swirlies " how much better could it get!!!!!! Reminds me of something arty.

Then, of course, quite taken the enchanting ice patterns.... I pottered into the garden " freezing, literally, my hands were shaking it was sooooo cold, even with the brilliant blue skies and sun shining " so, my icedrops....

(on it’s side, there’s a puffer fish there somewhere!)

Now " of course, I enjoy just taking snaps and I know I see things differently to some (something to do with being in Neverland methinks) " but, tell me folks.... what do you see????? Topsy turvy an icedrop- and whaddya got!!!!??? Razz

Now... this one may not look that special.... but....

http://i277.photobucket.com/albums/kk41/LzzieIzzie/P1080798.jpg

....and the sun broke through the clouds.
Good day Izzie. The frost pictures were neat. Will be parking my automobile outside. How is Izzieland these days? Did you ever find where the water was leaking?
Dutchy. That is too cool that you met up with crossword pal. Thanks for posting the picture. Now I need a dartboard.
Mismi. Breathing through your nose yet? Hope your feeling better.
My family flew out yesterday. Part comes once a year. It was nice to note, that we are getting younger.
My ribs are ninety nine point nine percent. Now that the upstair rooms are completed to my beloved bosses satisfaction, I've been finishing the garage. My garage. For now. The current debate is over a wood burning stove. I could add conventional heat, but who wants to be conventional.
Where and how is Devriesj?
Hello to the crew.

@alex240101,
Mornin! I AM breathing through my nose Alex - Thank you - but I feel like I am coughing up one of my lungs. It is horrendous...so I am sucking Hall's (nasty things) and drinking water and juice like crazy - I have missed two days of work and I need the MONEY! It's Christmas for Pete's sake. Anyhoo....Chicken Noodle Soup for lunch - isn't that suppose to cure a cold?

Izzie - I love how you see the world and because of your wonderful disposition it seems to perform so very well for you. Those pictures are amazing.

Alex I am so glad your ribs are better and that you have pleased your beloved - reserve your garage - for you. I like a good fire - snap, cracklin and poppin' but by conventional heat do you mean a furnace? I can see where that would make things more comfortable...anyway - I am sure you will make a wise choice being such a wise man.

I have a black eye - I was putting something up in the closet and a book fell and hit me square in the bridge of my nose....so I have this knot on my nose and a nice shiner to boot. The Prof told me people were going to start talking about him if I didn't quit doing things like that. How do I quit I want to know? It's not like I am doing it on purpose. Rolling Eyes Razz

Okey doke - I am going to go try to rest some and then clean a little, rest some, get some Christmas stuff down, rest some etc...I can't be here all day and not get something done. It would be a waste.

Hugs all,
miss

p.s. Iz - how did the hosp go? Was it bad? How are you feeling? ((IZZIE))
