Good result! Yay yay.... not one tear!
HA! All done! I yelped. Tulip laughed..... radiologist looked at Tulip in disbelief as I lay with hands covering my face. He asked me if I was in pain, whilst looking at Tulip coz he hadn’t even started... I quivered a “NO” out...... and said “It’s just the thought of what you’re gonna do”.
Then he said “small prick” - now never EVER trust anyone who says that!!!!!!!!!!
Mmmmmm..... I was a little loud, to say the very least - 15 seconds'ish of injecting felt a VERY long time. Tulip gave me a reassuring pat, and giggled. I was a whus! Pa-the-tic. We did really laugh about it coming back in the car. See, I thought they were going to numb my ankle first... oh no no no " the anaesthetic was injected into the tendon sheath with the steroids...... DOH....... aaaaaaaaaaaaagh. Now, can’t drive for 24 hours and taking it easy..... but really, once it was done, all was OK. Little tender right now " but all is very coco. Asked the little prick fella if this was going to cure the curling over toot problem.... he said “definitely not, this was to stop the pain and reduce the inflammation in the tendon”. I looked at Tulip, she looked at me.... “OH!” And another “OH!”. Mmmmmm- see what happens then when I go back to the consultant on 12th December.
Thanku so much Tulip for taking me. It would have been horrible had you not been with me. Listening to you laughing at me tho made it a million times easier. Thanku. Hope the kidlets are alright. Call me tomorrow if you need them to come here with me in the day. x
Still waiting for our Bethie to check in on the new job front. So hoping all is going well but reckon you must be a real busy girl. Know you will have wow’d them. How is MaMa getting on now? She nearly up to dancing with PaPa? All the best to them, and hugs to HIM. xx
