Good morning all - another lovely spring day starting to open. New car huh - Izzieliz - looks cool. No - hubby and I haven't been to the beach yet -had to put that on hold for a while. But we did go away for a wedding and stayed overnight. Hubby's got some overseas travelling coming up and will probably be gone for the better part of a month. Beach will have to wait until after then. When do you start work Izzieliz?
errrrrmmmm....... either Tuesday or Wednesday..... not sure!!!!! (can't remember!)
Oh... hubby going for a while... heck.... lotsa DVDs with MaMa a? Did you go and see the new Sex In The City movie??? (did you say already???) I heard it is fab...
Hey, Izzie, if you are going to be in London anytime, I cd maybe meet you there for a few hours? It's a fairly central point between our homes.
Thx for all your help and time earlier - I do get frustrated at my brain glitches and can be such a pain! But better now.
Concert was great, thx - beautiful, beautiful music. So much better live.
I did have to smile at the end - a classical concert, attended mainly by oldies, but when the musicians took their final bow, the audience stamped their feet and raucously cheered and hooted in appreciation!!!!! I've been to loads of concerts at that venue but never seen that reaction.
Maybe because the violinist was only 18 and they wanted to encourage him. The pianist is very popular here anyway - I think he lives here - a world famous classical musician and hugely successful recording artist (JPB - Ashley Wass if you are interested).
Good to see everyone. Some of the crew are especially in my thoughts. sending loving vibes, T x
Here I are. Just popping by to say hi. Hope all are well & good. Won't be around tomorrow. Hubby's dragging me out to a pool party! Should be fun. ttyl

@whiteviolet,
Turtles, alpacas, new cars and telegrams from the crew. What a great time to catch-up.
WhiteViolet - not sure if it's the case where you are, but here foot-stomping is expected at baroque concerts if the performance has been extraordinary - it usually precedes a standing O.
Hi. EhBeth, I am in the UK, where the Midlands meet the North for another year or two while studying, but will then return south to my real home in Hampshire. I have been to concerts elsewhere where there has been such a reaction but it has never happened here before - and the audience was particularly elderly, loads of crutches etc, so it did strike me as funny (though having entered my seventh decade myself, who am I to talk)!

Good morning all - soft rain falling and a bit grey out today. Lovely photo Whiteviolet and it is nice to put faces to names. I am not far behind you - coming up to my sixth decade.
Good morning W/V, ehBeth and DDXX what lovely ladies you are, brightening anotherwise dull day, considerably for me.
Izzie wish you well on your return to work, hope it all will fall into place for you.
Eagle is having a house full of visitors all day so won't be around much. Cheers to all the crew which happen to drop by.
