Once again, our Izzie has put away all of her troubles to help someone else.

So glad that our Dutch/Danny is better.

Maybe this lovely lady's dream worked.

@Dutchy,
Home! Excellent! And what a nice and sane hospital to make that arrangement.

@Dutchy,
Good to hear you're on the mend Dutchy.

Better off at home, safer.

Unfortunately hospitals are not the safest places these days, infection wise.

Oh and enjoy the cricket, Ashes in the bag already. Booyah.

I shouldn't gloat after what the Wallabies did to us last Saturday.

Stay well.

@Dutchy,
How wonderful that you'll be able to continue your medical treatment at home! Smile That's a great arrangement. So much better than another 6 weeks in the hospital.

Now, just rest, relax, spend time hanging out with us, and continue to fight that miserable infection until it waves a white flag and surrenders.

WELCOME BACK!

Hi Dutch---don't these ladies just love molly-coddling us chaps when we become a bit in need of the gentle hand of comfort. I've often wondered why they don't extend their generosity towards us when we are in our prime.

In a certain way I envy you. The fussing part I mean. The not being expected to do anything must be wonderful. I bet bet you could pull faces at them and they would be compassionately understanding.

What about the second day at the Gabba? I've backed your lot to win the series so it was a good start. Haddin is a great man for a crisis.

@firefly,
Hi all you wonderful people, thanks once again for your kind words of support, very much appreciated in fact overwhelming.

Izzythepush thank you, will be watching the cricket mate now that the Aussies have turned the 1st Test around for a likely win. Smile

Thank you Izzie also for your lovely PM. (((Izzie)))

Miss Letty, thank you for your acknowledgement and U-Tube contribution, much appreciated.

Ossobucu I agree brilliant suggestion from the Hospital. Thank you for the walnut brownies my favourites.

Hi Eurocelticyankee, I agree Hospital not the safest place infection wise, my problems started there! Cricket still wide open although I think we have the edge in the First Test.

Thank you for your kinds words Firefly, I will do as you tell me. Looking forward rejoining the threads . I agree great Hospital arrangement, home is the place to be. Smile

Spendi great to see you here and I agree with your wise and eloquent observations! I must admit though the ladies are extremely kind, to get calls from the UK and a Hospital visit from a lovely local lass is very heart warming at my age. So far I have enjoyed the Cricket, day 1 was yours but I feel we got the edge on day two. Long way to go before the end of the series mate I wouldn't count your side out yet. Smile

@Dutchy,
Glad you are back home where you should be, where you need to be. You had plenty of us scared when you vanished again and thank goodness for the network you formed which sent out the information so we could get our posi-vibes going for you. Welcome back!

Good to hear you're home, Dutchy.

You can afford to watch the cricket - about to start again. The ABC doesn't have streaming rights at present, so I can't listen at work.

For euroceltic...., Wobblies have turned around, I hope, now take on the Scots, followed by the mighty 6 Nations champions, Wales.

Take care, everyone!

@margo,
And Margo who have we to face on Sunday, the All Blacks.

I'm dreading it, think I'll watch from under the duvet, just take a peek every now and then.
Just hope they don't run up a cricket score.

@margo,
Hi Margo, thank you for your kind comments. Yes I'll be watching the Cricket in front of my telly with a pie in one hand and a beer in the other, the traditional "Aussie Norm". Smile

euroceltic...

We face the bloody All Blacks 3 times a year - and it's been a while since we've beaten them. They've been the best team in the world for years.

You're right to be anxious Smile

Dutchy - cricket's looking fantastic - 100's for Warner and Clarke, and Bailey's scored a few runs. I decided to stay home and watch rather than play tennis this arvo as usual. Good decision!
