I came home to check on my chickens and cats. (been away a bit)

and discovered my first egg. a pale green...

and apparently my instructions for using the nest boxes went in one ear, and out the other.

I have just talked to my brother and dad will not have to have the second biopsy. It is lymphoma. My brother seems to think it may not be as easy a cure as I thought. But - I continue to hope. He starts chemo Friday week. He gets his port in this Friday. He will have 1 round every three weeks for 6 rounds. So he has about 4 months worth of chemo ahead of him. He is pretty cranky my brother said. SO I am doing all kinds of talking to the boys about their behavior and that all that horsing around they like to do that I am totally oblivious to must not happen while we are down there.

Anyway - just wanted you all to know.

My sister had Hodgkin's lymphoma when she was only fourteen. She was completely cured. She is now fifty-four years old and has two beautiful teenage children.

I will continue to pray that your father's treatments are also successful.
