@Izzie,
Hi Izzie, have just returned from our trip to the Barossa Valley. A stunning day of 33 degrees, not much traffic around and we found this cosy little Bush Pub which served the most sumptious 3 course meal for next to nothing. You had a choice of 6 different home made soups, various roasts, I settled for pork, and you could help yourself from an extensive salad bar, (cold or hot), followed by a dessert of apple/apricot crumble pie with cream and ice cream. Not forgetting the home made rolls and bread if you had any room left. All this for the princely sum of $11.00 on a Sunday! I suppose they make their money on the drinks. Smile We then called in at a couple of wineries, did some careful tasting and came home with 5 dozen different varieties. DDDD would love the Chardonnay Laughing Now that I'm home I might just crack one. Cheers Drunk

The sun is now splitting the trees? That is quite poetic, Izzie.

So glad to have our Dancing Queen back again as well as our Dixie Queen

The Silent Indian National Anthem.

Thou art the ruler of the minds of all people,
Dispenser of India's destiny.
Thy name rouses the hearts of Punjab, Sind,
Gujarat and Maratha,
Of the Dravida and Orissa and Bengal;
It echoes in the hills of the Vindhyas and Himalayas,
mingles in the music of Jamuna and Ganges and is
chanted by the waves of the Indian Sea.
They pray for thy blessings and sing thy praise.
The saving of all people waits in thy hand,
Thou dispenser of India's destiny.
Victory, victory, victory to thee.

@Tai Chi,
Would you believe Tai Chi we're experiencing a real cool autumn, a mere 22 degrees today, just enough for a beach walk with a jumper on. Shovelling snow is unheard of here must keep the Mr pretty fit. Laughing

@Izzie,
Izzie, What the hell is a hoooleydoo?

I can't tell whether it's good or bad, but those three o's in a row are a bit intimidating.

As I used to say to my parents who spoke in another language when they didn't want me to know what they were saying, "Hey, talk American."

@Izzie,
Ah, thanks for the translation. I had more trouble communicating when I was in London than when I was in Florence. At least in Italy I didn't expect to understand.

It's still wintery and blustery here. But no snow in the immediate area. Flooding is expected though.

Get back to work. I'm going to sleep soon. If I don't hurry, the sun will rise, and I'll melt.
