Hi Izzie, have just returned from our trip to the Barossa Valley. A stunning day of 33 degrees, not much traffic around and we found this cosy little Bush Pub which served the most sumptious 3 course meal for next to nothing. You had a choice of 6 different home made soups, various roasts, I settled for pork, and you could help yourself from an extensive salad bar, (cold or hot), followed by a dessert of apple/apricot crumble pie with cream and ice cream. Not forgetting the home made rolls and bread if you had any room left. All this for the princely sum of $11.00 on a Sunday! I suppose they make their money on the drinks. We then called in at a couple of wineries, did some careful tasting and came home with 5 dozen different varieties. DDDD would love the Chardonnay Now that I'm home I might just crack one. Cheers
Hi Izzie, good to see you around, all well on the Moors? Nice days have come to an end and Im listening to the lovely raindrops falling on my roof. Enjoy the comming week Captain. (((Izzie)))

The Silent Indian National Anthem.
Thou art the ruler of the minds of all people,
Dispenser of India's destiny.
Thy name rouses the hearts of Punjab, Sind,
Gujarat and Maratha,
Of the Dravida and Orissa and Bengal;
It echoes in the hills of the Vindhyas and Himalayas,
mingles in the music of Jamuna and Ganges and is
chanted by the waves of the Indian Sea.
They pray for thy blessings and sing thy praise.
The saving of all people waits in thy hand,
Thou dispenser of India's destiny.
Victory, victory, victory to thee.

Hello crew! Really nice to see you back Izzie.
Still snowing here. The Mr is out shovelling the driveway! Is spring ever going to arrive? Go ahead, Dutchy, make me green with envy with tales of your sun tan
Would you believe Tai Chi we're experiencing a real cool autumn, a mere 22 degrees today, just enough for a beach walk with a jumper on. Shovelling snow is unheard of here must keep the Mr pretty fit.
it's just a tad on the windy side!!!!!! Good lawd, step outside and you'd be blown away. Poor folk up country are expecting a foot of snow... oh no no, at least down y'ere in Deb'n (that be spoke in local lingo) spring has finally sprung and the garden is sprouting nicely
ahhh.... how nice, the school cook just brought me some chocolate icecream and a cookie
Ah, thanks for the translation. I had more trouble communicating when I was in London than when I was in Florence. At least in Italy I didn't expect to understand.
It's still wintery and blustery here. But no snow in the immediate area. Flooding is expected though.
Get back to work. I'm going to sleep soon. If I don't hurry, the sun will rise, and I'll melt.
