where do you guys find out this?? i knew the bear - became the eagle - quite looooong back...
back then we cud see our posts and numbers - now - its nowhere to be seen..
smehow i liked the old look nd feel Razz ooooops th moderators gonna chase me down now!

Thank you Dutchy, Stormy and Verby - it was a great week. We had their party today at the park. Beautiful day. 74 degrees, sunny and very breezy. We flew kites...we had 26 kids there. The boys are in two different classes this year. I had to invite everyone - you can't leave a child out. I expected that many wouldn't be able to come because of baseball practice. I was wrong. So - there were - at one point - 26 kites in the air. So much fun.

Did your friend make it home Verby?

Sounds like the boys had a great party, with beautiful weather. What a good mom inviting everyone from their classes Very Happy . It always breaks my heart at school when a kid invites most of the class and there are those left out...it's so sad and the invited kids are not quiet about it either.

Thank you! It was fun. We had a scrimmage baseball game today. I had several of the moms tell me their boys had a great time. First sunburn of the season though! Me and the boys were quite pink faced this morning!

I love this time of year. Pear trees are blooming - they smell horrid - but they are so beautiful though! Next it will be the dogwoods. <sigh> love it.

hola Dutchy, Oh, yes we still have plenty of snow. Not too deep but we keep getting little spits ---- 1/2 to an inch, or so. Just enough to keep reminding us that it's still winter here. Sunny and warm (36F) today, 41F tomorrow. I guess warm is relative, eh? Wink
