I am too afraid to love
Worried that color will blind me
I've been living in the grey
Fear of hurt keeps me away
I've been living in my corner
I've eluded being an owner
Not to lose what I care most
I might in the world be lost
Forever put up a grim face
Smile might leave me in a daze
Scared of seeking more in life
To forever escape pain and grief
Shall I let go? Shall I love?
Has my time for joy come now?
Shall I run into the world?
See colors green, blue and gold?
Lie down on meadow green
See blue sky without a screen
Pick blossoms gold and cream
Shall I live my concealed dream?
Will I get hurt? Will I like what I get?
Hey, I really like it. Good job.
I kind of feel like that.
Give us another one, even if it's not as good.
