Computer Kworks
Computer users can waste time,
and waste paper by the ream.
To print something right first thyme
remains their earnest dream.
Software is sold for anything
one may have the desire to do.
But watch out for that deadly virus,
or that bug needing issue two.
Hardware is designed for hard wear
so we all can wrest in peace.
But if it goes wrong, it can cost you a song
and your plans for saving will cease.
Soft sectors do not cushion your floppies,
hard drives get you somewhere on your disc.
Tape drivers rarely crash and are quite safe,
but is write-caching quite worth the risk?
Printers come in all shapes and sizes.
Some whisper, and some grate like cheddar.
I've had mine now for 20 years;
it doubles up as a paper shredder.
Cavemen invented drag and drop
to gain a wife or a side of meat.
It then took man a thousand years
on screen, to achieve this feat.
You need only one computer,
it's a window on the world.
For info., ideas and stimulation
your creativity can be unfurled.
Very nice Rhymer... I especially liked the part about cavemen inventing the drag and drop.
