What is it?
My coming into existence was out of my control, I did not choose to exist, because everything that came into existence before I did I had no control over either, and I came into existence before I even realized that I came into existence. We didn't put ourselves here, we didn't put the Earth here, we didn't put the stars and galaxies here, we did not put nature here, and I am not trying to say that someone or something did, I am simply stating the obvious. We are a part of it, we are made up of it, we are an aspect of it.
Before man existed, nature was like a car without a driver, swerving all over the road hitting things, but when man came along, man did not take control of nature, the reckless behavior continued, instead man influenced nature, every now and then getting hold of the stirring wheel, to see what nature could do, to see how nature works.
Over time man has discovered the powers of manipulating nature, making nature do powerful things, but sometimes man has steered nature in the wrong direction, and simultaneously steered himself onto that self destructive path, and this happens because man is an aspect of nature, man is nature. Sometimes nature tries to destroy itself, and the cause of that destruction is man. It would seem that nature has a suicidal tendency, at times. But the brain of nature (man) has control over this. The universe is like a human being, and humanity is the brain, and the universe sees two alternate paths, one is a path to self destruction, the other, you could say, is like a realization of self, for the brain of the universe to understand the universe, is for the universe to understand itself.
For the brain of the universe(man) to understand the universe(the body), is for the universe to understand itself.
