Coin Information

A couple of weeks ago, I was given a penny back in some change. Its not from this country...and thats where I'm lost at.

The penny reads: 1906 Koningrijk Der Nederlanden on the back it reads 1 Cent.

What country is this penny from? The penny is in excellent shape....which surprised me for being dated 1906.

A couple of months ago, I got another penny that was from the Bahamas.....

By the way, just search Koningrijk Der Nederlanden penny and you will have more information than you will probably need or want.

If I do not have information o my coin, I start with googling the writing on the coin

Then i do a generic description

Example-
this one.. http://img443.imageshack.us/img443/3434/coinyx9.jpg

I just typed in wheat back 1904

Then I tried feathers on coin head 1904

and things like that.

Honestly, I found the exact answer with the 'feathers on coin head' search then anything else.
It is amazing what word combinations google finds..
