Hey, I think she could be in space.

Naked (and dead) because her spacesuit (and air) were stolen from her by force. No light from the window because there is no light in space. Murdered because the murderer was a stowaway who didn't think to bring his or her own spacesuit, panicked when the ship notified him somehow that emergency evacuation was necessary, and decided to do something about it. Actually, the murderer probably took the suit off of the woman while she was sleeping, hence why she was discovered in a bed, probably because of NASA's clever little on-ship cameras.

She'll probably be in orbit for a long, long time.

... or perhaps I'm thinking too hard. My brain has also been in orbit for a long, long time.

Don't bodies eventually decompose in water?
Something I thought about was that there is the room with the bed and the bathroom, a separate room. And it says there is ONE door leading out of the room, perhaps into the bathroom? Because if there is another door leading elsewhere there would be two doors. Just something to ponder. I don't have a completely thought out response
