I can so relate. I was the school scapegoat during 6th & 7th grades. Every junior high had one. Lucky me.
I switched schools in 8th grade, and everything was fine after that.
Took me decades to get over it, though. That is...I think I've gotten over it. Maybe not completely. Hmm. That kind of cruelty leaves deep emotional scars. I'm probably not very aware of them anymore, and that's a good thing, I think.
Might have something to do with the fact that I'm so empathetic, though.
Yes empathy. I am positive that is where we get it from.
Shouldn't there be an easier way?
(I could use a hug.)

A hug!?!?!? Here's a super hug for you with extra caring in it.
(((((((HUG))))))))
I never got picked on. Everyone knew that I had an older brother who
had to fight my battles if needed. He actually did a couple of times....
I did mean it, osso.
Amigo's a good guy. He knows I like him. (Don't we all?)
Honestly, it's hard to imagine anyone picking on Amigo. He's always so good natured.
Me too, re meaning it, and Amigo.
I cannot imagine not liking Amigo. I do not pretend to understand this.
No, it isn't. But, ok, let's argue...
Let's start a Gang!!!!!!!!
Yeah! We'll pick on bullies!!!
So, what's our color? (I'd go for red or black, but no pastels please.)
I think red and blue are taken.
How about turquoise?
Neon jumpsuits and viking helmets
Neon, sure. I'll take the pink one...
but I don't like that helmet.

Ok then instead of the helmet you wear this and then while they are looking at your hat we sock the bullies in the face.
Or we run...depending.
No, no, that doesn't go with my pink suit..
