Hi
Could someone please edit this passage meant for Year 3 students for me? Thank you very much.
Books can be classified under fiction, non-fiction, reference books and encyclopaedias. Storybooks, besides being entertaining enable us to improve our compositions by giving us ideas. There is a wide variety of storybooks so we can choose those we enjoy reading. Besides entertaining us, reading also improves our English and increases our vocabulary.
We can get books from the libraries and bookshops. We can either borrow from libraries or buy them.at bookshops. We should read books because we can get information on things, which we do not know. Among other things, we can learn about animals, plants and human bodies.
Non-fiction books are about real facts or events. Thus they contain a lot of information. We can know more about a lot of things from encyclopaedias and reference books. We should therefore also read such books to increase our knowledge.
Yoong,
Do you know how to outline?
This would help you create paragraphs that are well connected.
Outlining also helps to organize thoughts and make sentences flow better.
Google "Outlining"

Storybooks, besides being entertaining and easy to read, enable us to improve our compositions by giving us ideas. Because there are so many books to choose from, we can pick ones we enjoy reading from any subject areas.
We can find books at the library or the bookstore.
In the library, books are categorized as Fiction, Non-Fiction, and Reference. Non-fiction books are about real facts or historical events and contain information we may need for school studies. We can the library's reference books to study maps. Fictional stories allow us to read the creative thoughts written by others. At the bookstore, we can purchase books written by our favorite author, but at the library, we can borrow the book for a limited time for free.
