Okay, I have a CPU from a previous computer it's and it claims its appropriate Front Side Bus (FBS) speed is 800Mhz. Now I want to buy a particular motherboard because of some of it's features but it only shows FBS speeds of: 1333 and 1066MHz is that a problem can they all run slower just like ram? I have the Motherboard and CPU specs below for anyone who cares to look. Thanks for the help guys.

Simply confirm from the MOBO specs the range of CPU's it will accept.
It's just that easy. Here is the list of CPU's supported by the P55G V1.0

The Intel Pentium D 920 is not supported, at least officially, as the table only shows the CPU types that were tested.
Thank!
Hey one more question:
What's the difference between a Pentium 4 and a Pentium D? They both read as dual core processors. Or my Pentium 4 is misprinted. Anyway, I can't figure that out.
