Can anyone offer up a list of the most essential kung fu(or any style) flicks?

Enter the Dragon. Probably Bruce Lee's best, and none were bad.

Not to take anything away from Bruce but I meant the older flicks.
For instance...... five deadly venoms.......twin warriors......stuff like that.

Master Lee is a legend.ALL of his films NEED to be seen.But.......time moves on.IMHO,the new Master is Tony Jaa from Thailand. What you see him do on the screen he actually does! No CGI. No wire-work. Just pure skill! Check out Ong Bak and Warrior King.

P.S.
Don't forget Kill Bill 1 and 2 which have more than their fair share of martial arts fisticuffs Cool.
Will look on my DVD shelf for other recommendations later.

Now we're talking. (Five Deadly Venoms=Greatest Movie of All Time)

Also see:
** The Five Fingers of Death **
** The Hand of Death **
Master of Death
Master with Cracked Fingers
Drunken Master
Magnificent Butcher
Seven Steps of Kung Fu

And, if you like some of the newer films like the Kill Bills, see the new Iron Monkey (possibly Tarantino produced?) It is pretty excellent.
