I don't know where it comes from, but isn't it obvious what it means?

As to the meaning: Laughing at a guy when he's bestowing a romantic kiss would be the action of either a young and nervous girl or a rather cruel woman.
Girls who laugh while you're making love to them aren't so great either.
But the worst are the ones who scream for the police.
I thought I'd got a lovely sweater for Christmas, but she turned out to be a screamer.
