Hi, I think I have gotten the Zapchast trojan you get from accidentally opening a fake Hallmark card. I ran my antispyware, but it didn't find anything. Unfortunately, I haven't updated the definitions in a long time, so I don't trust the results. BUT... anytime I try to use a program that accesses the internet, it stops responsing! This includes Internet Explorer, anti virus, everything. I can get online technically, but I can't get to any websites, use any programs, download anything, etc. I am even posting this using a different computer. I would so much appreciate any help!

Here's what I found on Zapchast: http://www.spywareguide.com/spydet_2854_zapchast.html

You should update your virus definitions, too, even after you get rid of it, as you'll need that in the future.
