I have seen members add christmas hats or christmas ornaments in with their avatar. I don't know how it is done. Is this done with a certain software program? Can it be done free off the internet? I have a mac btw
You need "image editing" software. The most common for a Mac is Photoshop or Photoshop Elements.
I do not know what freeware software is available for Mac.
Or you can just change for this avatar:
Can you give my avatar a sack of presents?

That's nice Francis but can you make the picture a little more seasonal? I suggest the arms spread-out as if ready to embrace.
TTH, be sure to save your old avatar somewhere you can find it again before you change to your lovely new one. (Good job, Francis!)
Oh, thank you both!!!
I don't have photoshop. There is something called photoimpressions but, I have no idea what it is. I never opened it. There are so many programs on this computer that I don't need and haven't explored yet.
Imur very funny
