Of course I would! There is a great deal to be regretted about what you call "civilisation". Regarding "our modern way of life", as Tonto said to the Lone Ranger in the old joke, "What do you mean 'we', white man?"

I would too. Then we could all sit in our backyards with sticks and rocks for protection, drinking home made beer. Then we could raid the neighbor when our supplies were exhausted

I dont wanna read another "POSTAPOCALYPTIC TOUR DE FORCE", ya read one, yave read em all.
World blows up by (add cataclysmic force here_____________), A coup,e of people are saved, for some stupid reason, . For some dumass reason, they decide to travel . They begin to meet up with others (Some good, most bad, a few morphologically altered). They (do,/do not) make it to some destination identified in the first chapter.

Postapocalyptic phase over and then Reconstruction begins.
