Tadhg and his family
ommmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm
Thanks, you guys. If I'm tired, I can only imagine what T's family is going through.
It's been a while since I updated. No news on the heart front. Tadhg is doing pretty well. Holding his own and even getting a little stronger (yeah!) They have been trying to slowly wean him off one of his heart rhythm meds. So far I have not heard that he is havng any negative reaction. He will be two months old on Wednesday.
Two months old--such a brave little boy.
Oooooommmmmm.
More om-ing is requested, please. Tomorrow, on his two month birthday, they are going to do a small amount of maintenance work on the little guys open chest. He's got some wires that must be taken out and a tube that needs to be replaced. Hoping it all goes smoothly. He didn't react well when they turned off the heart rhythm medication, so they had to turn it back on. He is on a lower dose, though.
Ommmmmmm
OOOOOOOHHHHHMMMMMMMMM. OOOOOOOHHHHHMMMMMMMMM OOOOOOOHHHHHMMMMMMMMM OOOOOOOHHHHHMMMMMMMMM

Prayers and best wishes today.
Poor little guy!
Perhaps by the New Year....oooooooooooommmmmmmmmmm.
I'm still hoping for Christmas. Ommmm
Little T came through the maintenance procedure well. Another attempt to close his chest wound was again met with distress, however. The stitches were removed and all is well again. The real concern is with infection. He has had an open chest since the day after his birth. So far no infection, but it is still a race against time.
I'm going to see him tomorrow night. I haven't seen him since before Thanksgiving. The weather is finally going to break for a while, so I'm going to git while the gittin' is good.
I'll report back on Saturday.
I look for updates regularly Swimpy, even if I don't log on.
Still focusing, here in Toronto.
I'm glad you'll get to visit.
Oooooommmm.
Brave little boy.
Glad the maintenance procedure went well. That's fabulous that they've kept infection at bay this long. Omming for a new heart soon.
Joining Joeblow in the Tranna focus beam.
Tadhg, a great Irish name. (The anglicised version is "Timothy").
Such a brave little fighter.
Oooooommmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm.
lmur, they anguished over that name. Mom worried that no one would be able to spell it or pronounce it and he would get teased. They talked about spelling it phonetically. In the end they decided if they weren't going to spell it the authentic way, then they should name him something else. So Tadhg it is. It's a great name. He'll be a great man someday.
For Christmas, I got him little wrist rattles. One of them is a tiger. (at least I think that's what it is)
