Nintendo DS Lite Black or Silver?

I'm considering buying my BF a nintendo DS for xmas, but I'm not sure whether to get a black or a silver one.

Which one is best? I can't really tell from the piccies on amazon, the black looks a bit sleeker though, but I'd like someone else's opinion before I go ahead and buy. Just incase there's something I'm overlooking.

buy a silver one. that way, if he doesn't like it, he can color it black.
