Rolling Eyes I am not new to computer use, but when I get message's come up when I try to add/remove programs, I have no clue what to do. All I want to do is remove yahoo browser but it pops ups a window that says it was either not completely installed or has a virus, etc. may use /ncrc but not recommended?? why even tell me that , if it is not recommended? Anyway it wont uninstall yahoo browser and it is taking up too much space 61.43mb------ and growing! NSIS ERRORcomes up and freezes my screen, also, when I hit remove. How can I get this (yahoo)off of my computer? Any suggestions would be appreciated. I have to go to my shop for a few hours, so I will check later today for a reply. Thanks for any help.

It seems your windows installer program may be corrupted.

A couple of websites that may help you...

http://forums.pcworld.co.nz/showthread.php?p=393299

and one for a download of windows installer as suggested in the site above..

NSIS ERROR
Thanks rymer for the info. I will try your suggestion. I even lost this site on my computer, duh, and could not log back in until today. Rolling Eyes I need all the help I can get. I was also trying to remove some old AOL programs and it pops up "the installer you are trying to use is corrupted or incomplete". I hate when I can't remove programs.

Another prolem I had a while back. I saved a picture to my wallpaper off an email. Next day, I enlarged the same cute picture and printed it. Next time I turned on my computer all of my icons and start up screen were gone and there was this huge picture (my wallpaper) huge as all get out. (bigger than life) I had to click (alt clear delete) just to be able to get on. My daughter came and fixed that but my computer is not quite the same as it was. Almost, but something is different. (on add/remove programs) it still has windows xp security update and windows xp hotfix over and over again. I was wondering if it needs to be there. yes, I know that is a dumb question.
