Izzie--
You have a fleet spirit. How are the fusing feet?
The moon looks full tonight.
I'm howling tonight on the last night of the second month of winter and tomorrow for the beginning of the third month.

Going to venture downstairs and out onto the patio - last nite the moon was incredible.... 11pm here ...
Fusing feet will do better with a little howl.
The moon is gorgeous right here! It's lining the evening clouds with silver and there's a hint of purple in the sky.
Izzie--
Welcome. You're a woman with lots of raw material for howling.
Littlek--
Howling relieves boredom--as does beauty.
Amazing moon here, too. It looks full enough for a good howl.
Howling for lost innocence and little girls made to grow up too fast through no fault of their own.
Howling for mothers everywhere, for their joy, their accomplishments and their weariness.
Howling for health, kidney stones, ovarian cysts, prostate cancer, sweet feet and those injured in war that make kidney stones seem rather small no matter their size.
Howling early and often for the loss of dear friends we have never met.
(I'm feeling certain Cav would approve of a good howl and can picture / hear him laughing as I raise my glass of red wine.)
I missed the last howl, so I will also howl in thankfulness for the past and the strong women that have influenced and shaped me.
It's a cold wolf moon as well, Noddy. Don't they howl? My full moon shines like the night as the sun turns out its light.
Some great things about living in Cambridge involve access to unusual events. For free, I could go to the Harvard-Smithsonian Center for Astrophysics and watch the eclipse through their collection of telescopes. The building is just down the road. Now. Will I go?
Letty - That's beautiful! I went to the ocean this past weekend. It's beauty is still so powerful to me after all these years.
LilK - Yes! Please go! And, let us know what everyone around you does when you begin to howl.
For friends who are no longer with us.
For us to give them our strength.
For children we can't reach.
For fusing feet to bansh pain.
For all who give me strength.
For Squinneys rock - may it pass and land on one of the Moorland Tors.
For WV and to banish her nasties.
For Urs53 to gain strength for work.
For Jodie34 to step back and take some time.
For laying ghosts to rest and fresh starts in new places.
For all those peolpe who help and care.
For the man I'm in love with and who is in love with me - when we can't be together but are always holding hands.
For the strength of nature to let us hold on to hopes and dreams. For angels wrapping their wings around me and protecting me.
WHAT A BEAUTIFUL MOON TO HELP EVERYONE SMILE INSIDE AND HOWL FROM THE HEART - THANKU - HOLWING COMPLETE 3.30am
Peace to you, Izzie, and to all of those who howl this night.
Howling along in the nortwest!
Squinny, the link you posted for coyote howls was fun. My favorite and most familiar was number five, mostly because it was a chorus. I don't remember ever hearing just one coyote howl.
Often, when I would howl with them at my aunt and uncle's place, they would stop suddenly when I first joined in. Then they started in again as if welcoming me even though they must have thought I was the worst singer they'd ever heard.
Has anyone seen a full moon in Mexico? When I was a kid, camping at Rocky Point, there was a full moon that filled the horizon with a rich gold. It was enormous and so beautiful it almost hurt to look.
Thanks to those of you who posted so many loving and beautiful thoughts. They helped me feel at peace tonight.
Whooooo hoooooo..... arooooooo..... for all those we're blessed to be with and those we've lost.... hoooooooo......
Squinney--
Love the coyote howls. Thank you.
Izzie--
Glad you managed some productive insomnia.
Diane--
Glad that you're up to howling. Southwestern howls are particularly therapeutic.
I hope all of you will howl tonight so we can get our moon back.
Aarrooooo
Last night the moon had a golden ring and tonight no moon we see.
