@ehBeth,
Oh Beth. I am so sorry. I had no idea. My warmest regards to Mrs H, Hamburger & to you. That is terribly sad.

I hadn't participated in the Coyote Women howling activities to date (being in the wrong hemisphere, I'd be howling alone. Not quite the same thing.) .... but I will make a point of finding out when the full moon next appears in Melbourne, Oz, & howl for Mrs H. And hamburger. And Beth, too. If this month's full moon has already been & gone, well I'll gonna howl anyway ....

(BTW I read this thread right through, yesterday. It's wonderful. Ah, Noddy. Sigh.)

@ossobuco,
I near adored Noddy, but stopped on this thread as I've just no interest at all in howling by date - though I am sentient enough to understand that you all connect with that and find it sustaining.

I am still connected strongly with Jill, in my way. Well, we are still snapping back and forth. Conversations beyond.
So I haven't followed all this over time.
And I do love Mrs. Hamburger, in my about useless way.

Tough time, I send love.

@ehBeth,
Bethie...

the moon was stunning last nite - Noddy was watching over - so bright and shining across The Sound, silence was calming.

thought of you and yours - talked about you and yours - howled for you and yours - love you girl x

Beth, I did a silent arrooo for all 3 of you last night. 9:35 EST.
The moon was almost full (just one segment missing, I think). Very beautiful on a cold, still night.
I couldn't do a full-on howl because, at that time on a Sunday night, you could have heard a pin drop in my neighbourhood. Total silence. And it seemed wise not to alarm the neighbours. But it was a very heart-felt silent howl, I can assure you.

How are you, Beth?

7th June - Sunday

says...
New Moon

The new moon occurs when the sun and moon are in conjunction, occupying the same part of the sky from the viewpoint of earth. During this time the moon doesn't reflect the light of the sun, and so cannot be seen (except during a solar eclipse). The moon's un-illuminated side is facing the earth.

The new moon phase is the time of new beginnings - like the Maiden form of the Goddess and the season of Spring.

This is a time of growing energy, newness, rejuvenation, growth, renewal and hope.

mmmmm........ been looking at the moon tonite... thinking........ miss Noddy, miss her.

gonna have an arooooooo on Sunday

for Beth... with Beth

for with those who wish to aroooooooo...

@Izzie,
yanno
it's been verra 'moon-y' lately
the other day, we could see the moon in the mid-afternoon sky

tonight, as the pack and I were driving back from picking up some pet supplies, there was crazy weird traffic and fire trucks going east and I looked up and there it was, the almost full moon in the late afternoon sky
