My dog paces
She's finally feeling the heat
that has eluded us this summer
This summer
rain, cold, damp, grey, colourless
smashing to bits June flowers
shards of petals
strewn on muddy
perennial battlefields
Capricious clouds
vacillate between cumulus
and nimbus
birds soar high
luxuriating in the thermals
but not the crows
fractious birds with
their belligerent caw caw language
have all but disappeared
From the tall maple
fluttering leaves
like loitering Monarchs fall
amongst the soggy irises
and decimated peonies,
the cultured lawns
and topiary attitudes
that share our descent
blast - just caught typo in last line
shape our descent
(you know, topiary, etc)
oops.
You can edit the post ya know.

Here's one about dog poo!
The brown color, thick and heavy with a subtle essence engraved within the curvature of the brown mush.
The petruding rectum squeezed the lush brown soil of the Kibbles and bits the dog ate last night. The flies feasting upon the valiant stench and nitrogen compacted brown material.
Nothing has more of an illicit kind of beauty.
No color can be ever as brilliant and rich as that of dog ****!
Thank you! Thank you!
No I did not know that about ze editing.
Great observations on the dog poo. Might I be so bold and make a suggestion? The description would be even more vivid with the inclusion of some olifactory cues. N'est-ce pas?
