The participation in the upcoming Coral Sea exercises was the last straw. Now you guys are helping America undermine international law.

Sad, I used to really like Oz.

Even the US has admitted that the interdiction of North Korean ships like had happened with the one going to Yemen is illegal. There is no international law that allows one nation to arbitrarily board the vessels of others to determine what kind of legal trade they pursue. The Coral Sea exercises are an attempt to put pressure on NK for the upcoming talks.

Nork Korea's demands have simply been for the US to cease it's hostilities against NK (which far outweigh NK's hostilities directed at the US). They7 want a non-agression treaty and the US has flaty refused this in order to leave the invasion of North Korea on the table.

The interdiction of drug ships etc is perfectly legal, what is not legal is the ultimate scope of said boardings. To halt North Korea's legal weapons exports.

It's an attempt to say that we can sell the weapons to nations we like but they can't.

Australia has been mired in a disgusting political climate and frankly I am sick of them. Canada is now my favorite country. The cold weather beat out England for the title.

Sigh. I would like to be able to argue, but I can't.

Rest in peace, Oz. (I mean, we always had a major dark side, but this is just plain embarrassing.)

We might make a comeback in a few years.

Can I move to Canada?

Ozlets, please inform your leader of my decision. The femfolk of Oz have been pining since I left and if I threaten a boycott maybe it can bring about some much needed change.

Peni are mightier than the sword.

I shall let the PM know of your words, Craven. I am sure he will give them all the consideration they are due...

Sweeping changes? I think not....sigh.

hey - have you considered that what the forlorn femfolk of Oz are longing to do with you, given your age at the time you left, is to feed you, burp you, play with you and your toys, and put you to sleep...
