Need help with 3 islands riddle!

Hey, what's up Very Happy

There are three islands. You are deciding which island is best to shipwreck on. Two of the islands have cannibals and three have nobles.

You pull up to the first island and can't hear what the guy says because the waves are crashing so loudly.

You pull up to the second island and the guy says 'The first guy said he was a noble. And I am a noble.'

You pull up the to the third island and the guy says 'The first two will eat you. I am the noble.'

Huh??! Any ideas on this one?

did you mean, two of the islands have a cannibal, and one has a noble?

Shouldn't there be something about cannibals always lying and nobles always telling the truth?

mark has just answered this in another forum.

Cannibals would lie in order to get meal. So considering that there is ONLY 1 nobleman island, the last island is the ONLY noble man island.

As the first 2 island people must have lied about being noblemen themselves. They were cannibals.

But you couldn't hear the man from the first isle, so the two from the last isles are free to fool you into thinking thair nobles, its the first. XD

The third guy said "I am the noble": a lie because all three are nobles.

And you don't run aground on the first island either, because if the waves are so loud you can't hear the guy, you're more likely to die.

So land on island 2.

So two of the islands have noble cannibals and the third just has nobles...

I'd go for one of the two with noble cannibals. At least those fu***rs are honest...
