Antique Lockbox On Millsberry

Hey does anybody know how to open Antique Lockboxes on Millsberry? I have a couple keys but don't really know how to use them.

you put a closed lockbox in a room, and a key as well. then save the room and leave. go back in the room and click on the box, there will be an option called "try"

it should open.
