Hi.
As a gamer who grew up with the King's Quest and Space Quest Series, I have grown to enjoy these types of games. To this day, I still play these games, however, I have grown very familiar on how to win these games. Is anyone familiar with games that are similar to these classics?
Thanks.
Hi Roberta,
how about "Day of the tentacle" or the "Monkey Island TM" series?
Oh that really brings me back! I remember playing day of the tentacle. It was frustrating as hell and I ahve no idea why it was so entertaining.
Bop It Extreme I and II
I know this isn't a video game, but I love bop it extreme I and II. It makes you think, but at the same time it's a lot of fun. Has anyone ever played it?
Sadly, the days of great Lucas Arts and Sierra adventures are long gone.
My favourites include (in no particular order):
-- From Lucas Arts --
Sam n' Max: Hit the Road
Maniac Mansion 2: Day of the Tentacle
Indiana Jones 4: The fate of Atlantis
Monkey Island 1-4
-- From Sierra --
Police Quest 1-4
Leisure Suit Larry 1-6 (There are more, but never tried then)
-- From Others --
Gabriel Knight series (possibly Sierra, can't remember)
Alone in the Dark 1-3 (Infogrames I think)
Black Dahlia (Unknown atm)
Toon Struck (Dan Castellana (voice of Homer Simpson) goodness)
Sadly, no recent adventure game can topple the good old classics.
