Uh-oh! A touch of insomnia? It is the moon, I think. Not much you can do about it, silly moon. Take a nap in the afternoon or whenever you feel drowsy. That'll kick-start you back into a good sleep pattern.

I'm the queen of insomnia...the only books that truly put me to sleep are the ones by Miss Read...they are deadly boring. Try one.

dream - Miss Read is one of my very favourite comfort authors. I always go back to her when I want to feel happy and relaxed and snuggly. I'm re-reading a trilogy of hers right now. Making me almost enjoy the recent spell of bone-chilling weather.

Langston Hughes is my favorite........I've read them all. I also have his biography. He was a very talented and interesting man.

Just got my books from Amazon.com the Lord of the Rings trilogy and The Hobbit. So if y'all don't see me around much it is because I am reading, finally these books. Also I got a coupon for $5.00 off the DVD, I ordered them through the Forum.

Joanne, you'll love this books, I've read them 3 times over the last 30 years. Next you'll have to get Silmarillion to read. In fact, I've only read it once and need to again. It is a prequile back to the 1st age when everything was forming. Also, you get to learn about Smergol (Gollum) and how he came about the "Ring". Good reading!

Hi little k --

I just finished listening to 'Three Men In A Boat" as an audio-book on CD's..... while driving back and forth to the office.

It was really wonderful!! I would have probably overlooked it on the library shelf, if you hadn't mentioned it here.

It was read by Ian Carmichael. He does a fantastic job of bringing the characters to life, with his different voices. At times, he reminded me of 'Monty Python' type readings!

Thanks for the recommendation!!

Now I'm listening to an Anne Tyler audio-book, "Back When We Were Grownups". So far, so good. I hope it doesn't get depressing. It's the story of a woman who is looking back on her life, wondering if she's the person she wanted to be....

Very Happy
