Kim Clijsters has conquered the first place in the WTA ranking, after defeating Lindsay Davenport in the LA Open. Serena is dethroned.
Women's tennis is fabulously competitive these days.
More so than men's, more so than golf (either gender).
Their games have all elevated tremendously just in the past few years.
I try not to miss a Slam event, they are so much fun to watch.
Especially with Justine Henin in play... the most beautiful technique I've ever seen in women's tennis.
Henin,I agree with what wolf has said "the most beautiful technique I've ever seen in women's tennis".what's more, her backhand technique is so powerful and fatal.
I wish one day Henin will rank first instead of Kim Clijsters...
Because she can...
Tomorrow is her second opportunity to dethrone Clijsters, at the finals of the Open of Zürich. Clijsters kept the US Open champ admirably well off in Leipzig last week. On the indoor courts and a good day, Clijsters is very hard to beat.
Damn, Kim Clijsters just got beaten by Jelena Dokic. Finals tomorrow between Dokic and Henin-Hardenne. If the latter wins, she'll be the new number one.
Henin won the crown.
But I like Dokic very much because she was given the plump body and pretty face.I love extremely.
On the other hand,I really appreciate Henin's good techniques among all the women players in today's tennis field.
Wish she can stick long on her first-time No.1 in the world.
Clijsters is number one of the world again. Looks like the two Belgians are gonna share the tennis crown for a long time to come.
Henin,it's too short for her to stick in the No.1...
Speed up Henin...get it again.
You own the ability and technique.
Again Henin got the No.1 crown. But Henin failed to enter the final to meet Clijsters in the last top 8 players masters game.
No matter what, this year belongs to Henin.
