Multiple Monitors.

Hello Experts!

Is there any way to hook up 2 or 3 monitors onto one hard drive? Someone told me I can hook up two monitors to one hard drive, and then when my mouse is moved to the left, it'll go to the monitor on the left. (I hope I'm explaining it correctly!) I'm wondering what type of hardware I need to use more than 1 monitor? If I'm not making any sense, please tell me. Laughing

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance,

-Beth

I believe what you want to do is referred to as "DualView" by Microsoft. If you are running Windows XP you might be interested in these:

Hi Daddysgirl,

Since Windows 98 you can use up to 4 monitors, and XP supports up to 10! You could use a DualView adapter like others here have suggested, or you can use secondary display adapters which might be cheaper (they plug into a PCI slot since you've only got one AGP).

Making it work in Windows is a cinch. Configuration for it shows up under Control Panel>Display>Settings.

Yep, it can be done - hubby's had 2 monitors for years, wayyyyy before Win 98 (probably something jiggered by his office) to be able to look at very large blueprints.

Yup, that'd be using special proprietary software.
