There's a bridge, a person who weighs 100 lbs and he can only cross the bridge ONCE. He has two bags of groceries in his hands, both bags weigh 50 lbs each. This bridge only holds 150 lbs. His mother is on the other side. How is the person going to get across the bridge with the bags?

He could juggle the bags? Tossing one in the air at a time so he never was actually holding on to them both at the same time?

Why on earth would someone who only weighs 100lbs need 100lbs of groceries?

Or is his mother a VERY big woman?

maybe the groceries aren't all food. maybe he's buying a big bottle of Tide detergent and cat litter.

The question doesn't say anything about cats though, so I couldn't really say.

Unless of course it's really icy where they live, and he uses the cat litter for traction under the tires of his car.....or to sprinkle on the walkway so his mother won't slip and fall.

If he's buying a hundred pounds of cat litter, he really should be pulling it in a cart. Carrying it is just asking for a strained back.
