It looks like consumers are taking their complaints about crappy products, bad customer service -- or just major inconvenience -- to the web. And they're finding it to be an effective way to embarrass the companies who are responsible.
Michael Whitford had major problems with his new Apple Macbook, and posted a video about it (in which he destroys said Macbook) on consumerist.com. A few days later, Apple sent him a new computer.
His video is here
Robert McKee did a vid about the time he spent on a Delta plane, sitting on the tarmac, while the flight was delayed -- for seven hours!! He posted his vid on You Tube. Delta later gave the passengers $200 rebates.
This is his video (runs for seven minutes)
It looks like the web has become the international complaint desk for the fed-up consumers of the world.
