I love naps, almost anytime. It doesn't look good for PNW viewing for tonight, either. I'll look but rely on you to please enjoy them for me. Jespah -- a light blue streak?? Neato

I saw various shades myself...a couple of great orange/red coloring and a fwe shades of blue as well..very nice, glad I wasnt alone in my watching, in fact I was a bit comfotred to hear a few neighbors out there as well. Although, now that I think about it...me in my sweats, on a beach chair with a big rain coat over me in the middle of the yard, in the middle of the night
well, at least no one called the cops Smile

Gosh k..yeah, I did see quite a few 7-10 large streaming colorful full sky ones and probably another 5-8 smaller ones and was completely astonished, thinking I wouldnt see any at all. I was thinking about that further today and you know, it could be because Im really surrounded pretty much by water....this could lessen the city light effect. It was also incredibly clear. I stayed out there for about an hour. Froze but, was worth it. Sorry ya missed it gal but, I almost went to bed myself, so I know what ya mean.

The Cape might be a good place to take in the view.

There should be some good photos coming today and the next few days, at least I hope so for those who didnt get to it.

Let me guess, the Geminids come from the area of the Gemini constellation???

I was up at 4ish, but it didn't look clear, and since I was in Seattle with lights... AND the moon was full, I didn't even try. However, this morning the moon, the sunrise, the fog rising off Puget Sound and Mt. Baker bathed in light were breath-taking. That was worth an early rising and trekking around.
