'Time and a Bottle'
alas, alack, and woe is me,
here's what's left at sixty-three:
insipid personality,
with good looks gone, and mind grown dimmer,
I sigh and wish that I were slimmer,
(and think too much of what's for dinner!)
But,
it's not too late to live life risky
...I think I'll dissipate some whiskey

Thanks for that. And thanks for showing up from time to time.
This is great! Good to see you.
Hi Edgar! I really like your car. has it got cruise control and onstar?
littlek Hi! long time no see. I was lurking about a2k the night before last and read your post on a thread about some foot fetish person. did you ever read the little light poem I wrote a couple of years ago about the 'Foot man' they caught in Providence?
anyway, on the thread the other night you said something like, 'They'd have to pay me!' well, I decided not to pop in out of the blue but I have to tell you that if you do do it for pay, you have to give good foot!! :-)
Roger! thanks for dropping by.
Seeing you makes me remember the Florida A2k gatherings with Rae and Misti (Misty?) et al.
Even though I wasn't able to go, I enjoyed reading all the details. have those and/or other A2k gatherings continued?
I went to a couple of one night meetings in Boston in '03 and '04 where i met Jespah, littlek, Merry Andrew, Diane,
and others. Then in April of '04 I went to the San Francisco A2K 'meetup' and had the pleasure of meeting Cicerone Imposter, Diane and Dyslexia (Bob), ossobucco, pdiddie, Lola, and Blatham!
A2K people --what a great bunch!
Hi osso! how ya doon out there in the dunes?
...I heard that you moved there only because you're a Bill Richardson groupie... is that true?
BTW you said: 'More' more!' (I guess there's no accounting for taste)
well, you asked for it...I added anuther: 'Faith Etc.'
'Morning, jjorge. The car is the actual family car we had in the 1940s.
Thing I like about your poems is the good nature always in essence, no matter the subject matter. Keeps me coming back for more.
