I have two flash drives. One is a PNV Attache, the other is a Staples brand RELAY. Both were filled up, but neither seems to have anything on it any more. They seem completely empty.
What's going on with them?
Any way to retrieve the stuff?
Can you write to them?
If so the original data is wiped and not recoverable.
If you click on my computer and then right click on the flash drive letter (be sure the flash drive is attached) and then right click on properties.... does it show used space?
Flash drives are empty?
OK! All of a sudden they both work. I don't know what the problem was. The smaller Staple I know is full, but there should be still room on the other. Anyway, I'm really putting my faith in CDs for serious long-term storage. I had the others because my old machine didn't have CD-ROM capacity.
Sometimes I think that the mere mention of a problem on A2K cures it at once for some arcane reason.
So thank you both for waving your A2K magic wand!
The incidence of faults is inversely proportional to the proximity of an engineer.
Flash drives are empty?
Actually, it turned out that they are both full to the brim, but accessibility is no problem. the problem must have been me.

That would be funny if you could say it in English.
