Pop ups

I installed a torrent downloader a couple weeks ago. It kept locking up on start up so I ended up getting frustrated and deleted it. But now I am getting pop ups from Internet Explorer.

I generally use Firefox for web browsing and only use Internet Explorer for sites that do not work with Firefox (Zone.com, some news video sites).

The pop ups are in Internet Explorer only. They even pop up in IE when I am using Firefox. They only come up when I have a web browser open.

What I have done to try to stop this:

Uninstalled IE 7 and reinstalled it from a new download.
Ran Ad-Aware and removed spyware
Rand Search and Destroy and removed spyware
Ran Trend Micro Antivirus; no viruses found but did remove more spyware.

Not sure what else to do in order to get these pop ups stopped. Any help is appreciated.

You still might not have gotten all of the spyware. Try following these directions: http://www.able2know.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=54757 and Google anything you find in your hijackthis log that you don't recognize.
