I gave power of attorney to my mother some time ago, but have since got married, and would like my wife to be in charge of such things. Anyone know whether she - my wife - has power over many medical issues autormatically; or do I need to do something proactive; or what? It is medical issues I'm mainly concerned about.
Thanks!
esmag, Welcome to A2K. Your doctor or hospital should have the proper forms and information concerning medical form called the "Durable Power of Attorney." Good luck. My wife and physician has a copy of mine.
