I hate the universe

The universe is a death trap around us, and we can't escape it or understand it.

Imagine a giant cage, then imagine some of the particles making up the cage morphed into mice, who then looked at the cage around us and said 'wow, a giant inscrutable death trap. This sucks.' The mice are us.

I feel like I should go into physics in order to try to unlock the universe's secrets, but why bother? I will never know the answers. Why set myself up for a dissapointment? why even bother?

The universe is our coffin, and we suffocate slowly.

The universe is also our mother. Without it we wouldn't exist. We are OF it.

You truly need to get your head out of the coffin and learn to live a little! Worrying about death contantly isn't going to stop it from happening, so why not make the best of your life while you're here?

Why bother? Why not?

Life has been tough on me, but I just keep picking myself up, getting back on that horse because life, to me, would be meaningless if I didn't.

Death sucks, but we are all in the same boat, so why not row the boat around and enjoy the sites, instead of waiting around in the same spot for the boat to fall apart and sink.

Sink or swim, I choose swim! I love to swim :-D

Read Stephen Crane, drews

I Saw a Man

I saw a man pursuing the horizon;
Round and round they sped.
I was disturbed at this;
I accosted the man.
"It is futile," I said,
"You can never -- "

"You lie," he cried,
And ran on.

A Man Said to the Universe

A man said to the universe:
"Sir I exist!"
"However," replied the universe,
"The fact has not created in me
A sense of obligation."

Stephen Crane

I hate swimming.

Here's another good poem.

Whenever Richard Cory went down town,
We people on the pavement looked at him:
He was a gentleman from sole to crown,
Clean-favoured and imperially slim.

And he was always quietly arrayed,
And he was always human when he talked;
But still he fluttered pulses when he said,
"Good Morning!" and he glittered when he walked.

And he was rich, yes, richer than a king,
And admirably schooled in every grace:
In fine -- we thought that he was everything
To make us wish that we were in his place.

So on we worked and waited for the light,
And went without the meat and cursed the bread,
And Richard Cory, one calm summer night,
Went home and put a bullet in his head.
