Do u rate Disney PIXAR movies over good old Disney Buena Vista films?
Who cares if it's a duplicate. Yes, i do rate them more highly--they do a wonderful job.
love their movies, shame theyre at a point of diminishing returns with all the two bit 3d animation movies coming out.
Not true:
RATATOUILLE is the first totally owned Pixar feature of the eight they've produced. Buena Vista is the distributor as before which is owned by Disney. All of the Pixar animation films were jointly owned by Buena Vista/Disney.
Domestic Total as of Aug. 2, 2007: $184,258,413
Distributor: Buena Vista Release Date: June 29, 2007
Genre: Animation Running Time: 1 hrs. 51 min.
MPAA Rating: G Production Budget: $150 M
TOTAL LIFETIME GROSSES
Domestic: $184,258,413 78.4%
+ Foreign: $50,890,000 21.6%
= Worldwide: $235,148,413
"Chicken Little," Disney's first release into 3-D Imax as well as 2-D only took in $135,386,665 domestically on final box office figures.
Hint: it has to be a good script, 3-D alone will not make a film.
The potential of Ratatouille with a DVD release is nearly 3/4 of a billion dollars. I don't think PIXAR or Disney are hurting.
thx for clarification lw.
I also love their movies. I love Disney in general!
Wall-E
I love Pixar ... I think they always come out with quality movies... I like Ratatouille and their upcoming film Wall E looks great from what I have seen so far..
