Ink Cartridge Problem

Reply Wed 1 Aug, 2007 02:32 pm
I'm having trouble with the ink cartridges in my printer. As you can see by the picture below I still have plenty of ink. I took the cartridges out and cleaned the nozzles with some luck. How do I correctly clean the cartridges? All my other printers were Hewlett Packard and I never had any trouble. Thanks!

The cartridges tend to clog up if you don't print something every week or so. Two weeks is too long an interval.

There are products such as Powerklin or Jet Tec Flush which you could try. Google for Inkjet Nozzle Cleaner. Some people say all you need is some bathroom cleaner on a paper towel. I think ammonia is the ingredient all these things have in common.

Maybe you tried these already. I think I may have to choose my words carefully here -- I don't want to get Able2know into a lawsuit -- let me put it this way - actually you said it yourself:

I had a Lexmark once. I have a Canon now. You get my drift?
