The shot my doc gave me was into the side of my shoulder and that wasn't so bad. The surgeon went from the back, right into the joint and when he said it was going to hurt, he wasn't kidding.

The car thing is the 1/4 mile (drag racing).

Well, I said my 1/2 was out of town. So, I stayed out late one night and my neighbor and me play jokes on each other and she turned on her lights inside her house when I drove in my driveway to let me know she knew what time it was that I came home. She will tell my other 1/2 because she thinks it is funny. He will then give me the 3rd degree about where I was, but I won't tell him.

TTH, you go drag racing; how cool is that!

I tried it once, but my heels kept getting caught in my dress with disastrous results, so I took up dwarf chucking instead! Laughing

I'm no petrol head but may change my mind with Izzie and TTH behind the wheel. Love doing wheelies, do you girls do them too, or only in the wheelchair? Laughing

That is not true Dutchy. It is very intimidating to me to go to the track on a T & T when there are 100+ guys and I am the only girl. It is like I have to prove myself and they are watching and judging me.

btw I never got to drive the Super Comp or Super Gas in CA because my doc would not sign off on the physical because the timing of when I had that seizure. I was told by other racers just to go to a clinic where I live or wait until I went down to CA and get a doc to sign off without telling him that I had had a seizure. I wouldn't lie, so I didn't. Since I already paid and Gary was aware of my situation, we worked out a deal. I went through the class and did everything the other students did except I couldn't drive the car. I did ride in the Super Gas so when I go back, I know what to expect.

You don't need to apologize Dutchy. It is just being a girl in a sport where there are typically more guys, people tend to think it is the guys I am interested in, when it is truly the cars that I like.
