A black-winged stilt with a chick (Himantopus himantopus). The birds were probably forced north by arid conditions in their usual breeding grounds in the Mediterranean.

This appears to be a nymph of a Flatid Planthopper, but the species I found here: http://bugguide.net/node/view/7342/bgimage , the best match I can find, isn't reported in Korea:

I tried on and off all steenkin' day to find and post a photo of a steekin' bald eagle. If this doesn't work, I'm just going to slink away and sulk. I'm not much of a slinker, but I'm a helluva sulker.
